Micro Financing Solutions Limited (MFS) is a money services company that provides Micro-lending, FX Trading, Remittances and Bill Payment. The Company has its Registered office at, 2 Trafalgar Road, Shop #2, Kingston 5. The company has two other locations: 8 Lady Musgrave Road, Unit # 3 Kingston 5 and 176 Spanish Town Road, Shop 8, Kingston 11.

Our mission is to provide our customers with variety financial solutions and increase their capacity to grow wealth while delivering above average returns to our shareholders and maintaining high levels of employee satisfaction.

Dino Hinds

Dino Hinds has over 25 years experience in Investment and Commercial Banking.  He has held several senior roles in the local financial sector including Senior VP for Treasury Trading and Asset Management at Mayberry Investments and Acting Head of Treasury and Investments at First Global Bank.  Dino has extensive expertise in the areas of FX trading, bond trading, asset and liability management, stock trading and pension fund management.  He has served on various committees such as the asset and liability committee and the revenue committee.  His expertise spans both back office operations and revenue generating departments.

During his career Dino has generated billions of dollars annually for the companies he has worked with.  During the past two years he has lead the team that grew revenues at MFS Group from 5 million annually to currently over 220 million annually.

Dino resigned from Mayberry Investments in 2014 to focus on his own ventures. He currently sits on the board of several companies Including Micro-Financing Solutions, Liquid Chem 2014 Ltd, and Kidzblock Limited.  He has a certificate in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and a MBA in Business Administration from the University College of the Caribbean.

Tamar Webley

Tamar Webley has over 12 years experience in the financial sector spanning areas such treasury trading and retail banking. She joined Micro-financing Solutions in November 2012 from First Global Bank.  During her tenure the company has achieved over 100% growth in revenues each year and has also expanded its product offerings.

Tamar has degree in Business, Economics and Social Statistics from the University of the West Indies. She has also completed the Jamaican Securities course from the University of Technology /JIM and is also certified in Treasury Risk Management by the Jamaica Stock Exchange.

Robert Barnes

Banking and Finance Professional with over 25 years of experience managing, developing and assessing enterprise operations risk across multiple sectors – Banking and Finance, Investments, Renewable Energy, Real Estate, Hospitality, Tourism; Experience in multiple markets – Jamaica, United States, Guyana, and Grenada;  Proficient in a variety of operating systems, frameworks, and management culture. Key expertise includes early and mature stage operations risk analysis and policy framework design.  Transforms vague ideas into tangible business solutions and participates in full life cycle of the development process. Expert in process design, requirements gathering and business analysis.

David Weir

B.Sc. (Honours) – Economics and Management, UWI, Mona Campus – M.B.A. – UWI, Mona Campus, Jamaica – Certificates for completion of several Euromoney courses. David has had expertise in structuring, planning and managing various financial firm client portfolios. He was also responsible for maintaining a continuous programme of communication with high net-worth clients and organizations, for establishing effective relationships with various organizations through target marketing, and for managing and developing client care standards, interacting and growing pension funds.

David has held positions at leading Jamaican financial institutions. Most recently senior manager scotia investments charged with maintaining the 2nd largest pension fund in Jamaica. Prior to joining Scotia, he worked as Assistant Vice President – Private Clients & Portfolio Management at Capital & Credit Securities Limited.
